Gary Heidman; VP Construction Operations
Over Twenty-Eight years experience, including the last 20 years with Kitchens Plus. Master Craftsman and versatile in all facets of construction, Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD), and Licensed Real Estate agent in Michigan prior to moving to San Diego. He is a resident of East County where he lives in a custom home that he built himself.
Most rewarding: "Doing the final walk through on a project and hearing the client praise and thank us for giving them more than they ever expected. It is why we do what we do!"

Laura Landegent; ASID Designer
Growing up in Minnesota on a farm, my creativity for drawing and color was molded by the surrounding nature and calm, easy pace of lifestyle. After attending the University of Oregon in the Interior Architecture program I finished that stage of education at San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Over 12 years experience in residential design and 5 years specializing in Kitchen and Bath design. "I fell in love with interior design when I recognized its power to enhance lifestyles and psychological well-being". Shopping with my clients and helping them with their selections also ensures that they will be completely satisfied with the end results.
Love Most about my work: Seeing the faces of my clients when they experience living in their newly redesigned spaces in their home, very rewarding!
Karen Jennings; Lead Designer
Born and raised in San Diego I really appreciate the architectural changes I've seen and have been able to be a part of. I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors Degree in Art with an emphasis in Interior Design. Over 12 years experience in interior design with the last 9 years as a Kitchen Designer for Kitchens Plus, has gained me a vast knowledge and understanding for use of materials, colors and textures utilized in a renovation. I enjoy the small details and really understanding the client's needs and requests. Personally shopping with my clients and helping in their selections puts my clients at ease and confirms they are making the correct choices.

Jen Timmons; CKD Designer
I was born and raised in San Diego. As a child I would walk into a room and mentally start rearranging it to allow for better traffic flow, natural lighting, etc. I learned that I think in three-dimension and that has greatly added to my ability to design. Knowing this helped me be more successful in school and steered me towards a career in which I could use my talent. I spent my high school years taking art classes and drafting. I went on to San Diego State and received a Bachelors Degree in Arts with an emphasis on Interior Design. I have worked in the Kitchen and Bath industry for the past 10 years. I am a member of NKBA and participated in their most recent home tour.

Dennis Perrine; CKD Designer
Clients enjoy and benefit from my 33 years experience in the California construction and remodeling industry. From commercial to residential, I've gaineda vast knowledge of design and construction. Graduating from Cal State University Humboldt with Bachelors in Psychology, minor in Art I continued that education to further enhance my abilities with Real Estate Principles, Contractors license law and computer graphics. I've been a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) with Kitchens Plus for over 13 years and have enjoyed having my work recognized in numerous San Diego magazines have had my client's projects receive many rewards throughout my career.
Love Challenge: Being able to relocate and literally move a kitchen space and having the client see the concept via our virtual imaging computer program before we even pick up the first hammer ... very enjoyable!
